Doors of Morocco.
In March this year I took a trip to Morocco. I started taking photos of doors on the first day and it ended up turning into a mini-project. Some of these doors are to mosques, palaces and old medresas, but they're mainly residential. Moroccans are modest in their way of living and their style of housing reflects this. A house can say a lot about how wealthy a family is and so their houses are built behind huge walls. That's why in every city and town you'll find beautiful doors, because it's really the only way to represent the character of what's hidden behind them. There are also laws in each area about what colours you can paint your door - governmental time well spent I'd say.
